ISCA and Interspeech 2022 are jointly offering grants to students and early career scientists in order to support their participation in the Interspeech 2022 Conference. Each grant award includes early student registration and a 1-year ISCA student membership. If you are awarded one of the grants, the student registration will also cover one of your papers.
Please note: In order to be eligible for a grant, you will need to be the (co-)author of an accepted paper at Interspeech 2022. If you intend to apply for a grant, do not register for the conference before you have received notification of the outcome of the grantee selection, on Monday, July 4, 2022.
Conditions
The grants for participation in INTERSPEECH 2022 will be administered by ISCA.
The purpose of the grants is to support diversity of both scientific topics at the Conference as well as a wide representation of the international speech science and technology community. Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants from under-represented segments of our community, both geographically and otherwise.
Application Process
Applicants must complete an online application form. Applications will require the following supporting documents:
- Your curriculum vitae including a complete list of publications;
- The letter of acceptance of paper(s) you will present at the Conference;
- A copy of the paper(s), submitted to, and accepted by the Conference;
- A recommendation letter (or email) by your supervisor or the Director of your laboratory.
Applications can be submitted between Wednesday, June 15, 2022 and the application deadline at midnight CET, Monday, June 27, 2022. The application must be submitted using the online application form. Notification of acceptance or otherwise will be sent to applicants by Monday, July 4, 2022.
The deadline for grant applications is strict, and applicants are encouraged to start preparing the required documents early.
